Our mission is to create an environment where relationships are
nurtured, differences are celebrated, challenges are seen as
opportunities for growth, and children are happy.
Curriculum
Childrenspace North is a child centered program with a play-based approach to learning in a structured environment. We meet each child at their developmental level and help children foster their interests and skills so they are able to meet the next stage of their development with success. Pre-academic skills and developmental concepts are embedded throughout activities in the classroom. This helps to promote a love of learning and a community filled with exploration, inclusion and self-confidence.
About Our Teachers
The teachers at Childrenspace North are dedicated educators who value the team approach, strive to meet each individual child's needs within the group setting, develop meaningful relationships with the students and families, and help build a community of lifelong learners.
Meet the Directors
Staci Hall and Sarah Forth
Staci Hall is a NY State Certified Teacher and School Building Leader. She holds master degrees in both Early Childhood Special Education and Educational Leadership. Staci has taught in a variety of mainstream and special education settings and worked as the Director at a special education agency in NYC.
Sarah Forth is a NY State Certified Teacher for children from Birth- 2nd grade and holds a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She has taught in preschool classrooms in Westchester, Brooklyn and the Boston area. Sarah has also provided Early Intervention services in both the home and classroom setting.
Sarah and Staci use their experiences as educators and administrators to bring a forward thinking, multi-disciplinary approach to working with young children. As leaders in their field, and as parents in the community, Sarah and Staci are passionate about their work and value the relationships they forge with their students, families and educators.
